Newbie questions

Hi,

Could anyone please help me out with some questions? -

I like recording in beat patterns via live record mode and slices. Is there a quick way to switch from 16th notes to 32 or 64?

Once i spent time slicing up a break, is there a way to save these slices? I tried saving in the edit menu but when re opening it in a new project I dont get the slices.

Is it possible to delete certain scenes and delete all the parameters changes inside them (so a fresh scene)?

I cant find much info on the arranger (to sequence an actual song made up of patterns). Is it possible to use scenes in the arranger? So basically if scene 2 has a filtered cut off, it would be nice to have this in the arrangement as a bridge before the next pattern kicks in.

Any help is greatly appreciated

– The slice settings are saved within the slot and not the sample. You could copy the slot and paste it into the new slot in the new project.

– So far i know you can modify scenes only be the fader in real time

– yes. press Scene + Play(clear)

– see “Scale Setup” (function + Scale setup) for more info dig into the manual

Cheers Van.

 cheerz

One more question (sorry). Is it possible to loop a certain bar? For example, Im working on a 4 bar pattern and adjusting some notes on Bar 3. Is there a quick way to just loop bar 3 to make the adjustments and then switch back to the 4 bar pattern?

not exactly, but what about creating a new 1 bar pattern and copy/paste the page from your 4 bar pattern into the 1 bar pattern?

No way to do that currently. I’d love that to be added in a future update. As it is, sometimes when I’m tweaking a parameter lock to an exact value, I want to hear my changes immediately without waiting four bars.
Here’s my proposed addition: Cue + Scale Setup loops the current bar. I don’t think it interferes with any other functionality, but let me know what you think…

yeah , this bugs me too. cue + scale sounds good to me…
