Newbie question, using long sample

Hello,
It’s only been a few days with OT, so I am still learning things. I have MD, so I can just make simple patterns now.

My question is… Say I am trying to have a voice over that last somewhere between 20sec to 1min over a repeated pattern. What would be a simplest way to go doing about this? Is this complex to do in OT?

I looked at backing track option and also scale by tracks. Tried scale by track but probably I am doing sth wrong, it’s not working. also pretty confusing

Any tips? Thanks!

One Shot Trig or Pattern Scale Per Track

Or on OSv1.30C look into Trig Conditons.

Hold [ Trig 01] and press [ Left ] or [ Right ] to bring up the MicroTiming menu.

Keep holding [ Trig 01 ] and use the [ Level ] knob to change the Conditional Lock and set to: 1ST

The Trig will only be triggered the first time the pattern is played.
