New Video - Octatrack as a guitar resample pedal

Hello guys,

long time no see, but finally i did a new video tutorial about to use the OT as a guitar respample sequencer with a foot pedal. It’s becoming a sort of interactive e-bass playing.

Watched this last night…really cool! I’m very new to the OT, but have been working on something quite similar. You added a couple tricks I hadn’t considered, which was nice to see
Sadly, it left me with more questions than answers, but thanks for sharing it!

Nice video.
Although I don’t play the guitar it was still useful to me.
Let’s you see how versatile it is.
where did you get those side panels at that’s on the Octatrack? If you dont mind sharing.

I may be wrong but they look like Brightside Panels by E-RM (Erfindungsburo Rest & Maier)

Glad you like it. Yeah it is a bit complex in technical terms, but it needs just practice and you get the idea, what is possible with the OT and what is not. Hope you keep going.

No I did the panels myself. Just wood, a cut and 4 holes, that’s all. Cost 10 eur.

I’m sticking with it, for sure. Love my OT. Just have a whole lot to learn yet

Ah gotcha! Great job both with your video and side panels!

Maybe that Morningstar MC6 MkII Midi Controller is what I need!! Was just about to order the Nektar Pacer, but this one looks like a winner!

But seems not te be available at major resellers in EU. Where did you get it @Monoteur ?

Thanks
T

Edit: searched a bit deeper

The Morningstar is made by a young guy in Singapore. It is similar to the Nectar but its smaller, got a proper display and you have tab tempo…you can by this i guess only on reverb.com and it will send to you from china. Thats not a issue…

Thanks, not available (sold out) on Reverb at the moment so ordered away at loopersparadise.de.

Enjoyed your track (https://youtu.be/QpnBZGgjEt4).
Cheers

Thanks Tony. Glad you like my track. Hope the MC 6 is soon available and you may dive in.
