There was not supposed to be a “special edition” nor a “blue edition”. Never. It was supposed to be a one-shot. Reminds me of bands or humorists who claim to make a last show & still they come back again & again. An unpleasant, cheating strategy.
Not being elitist saying so. Words that were given must be kept.

Maybe the new one is different.

sounds like you own a ‘14. so I get your annoyance. did they say they’ll never make something similar? or just that the ‘14 itself was limited to 222 units?

genuinely asking. I didn’t follow all the announcements about it super closely. and don’t see anything on the website to this effect.

personally I hope it’s more like a Perfourmer Keys. but I doubt it.

During a Superbooth 25 interview, Vermona gave some explainations. There might be only 32 of their '24.

(I don’t speak German but believed aGearSpace member, see below).

Is he wearing shorts or did he just bunch his trousers up?

Interesting that it’s in the wild. Vermona doesn’t actually have any updated info on their website.

However, it is the case that when I bought one of the last '14s, no dealer anywhere in the world had 'em in stock. Based on a fellow Elektronauts post, I just called up Vermona and asked “Do you happen to have any '14s in stock”, and indeed they did (among the last 3 or 4 I seem to recall)!

Pre-Trump tariff’s it was actually a reasonable prospect to buy it directly from them and pay a modest tarriff for the amount above the de minimis. No longer I’m afraid…

I think this might be an almighty analogic internal counter-reaction to creating an upcoming device containing a digital sampler and sequencer with digital effects…
