New user. Analog Rytm MK1

Hi,

I have a used Analog Rytm Mk1 on the way and in preparation would like to know what to be on the lookout for as far as potential issues when I receive.

  1. Is it possible to do a factory reset and would you recommend it?

  2. Is there a quick way to test it to make sure everything is working properly?

  3. Any known hardware or software issues/bugs I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance. I’m sure I’m going to have a ton of follow up questions so bare with me.

  1. Yes, yes
  2. Yes
  3. You can always check the Bug Report thread but I think the AR is quite stable and rock solid

a few of these topics may enlighten you on things to be mindful of

try to use it blindly at first to see if anything seems unusual, once you have familiarity you may be better placed to understand some of those discussions

try it before any factory reset and do so if you want after some experimenting

but do start on a new project to clean the slate and for sure run test mode and press/try everything !!
