So I just got a digitakt, I used to have a model:samples, and one thing I can’t seem to figure out is why when I change an individual tracks sample using FUNC SRC then FUNC YES and then YES to select after browsing, It will sometimes change the sound on the selected track on multiple patterns instead of just the selected track on the selected pattern. I have no idea what I’m doing and I have searched the manual but I can’t figure out the issue. Compared to the Model Samples sound browser it seems a tad bit more difficult but that may just be me.
What you are doing there, is replacing a sample in its sample slot, rather than the sound.
If you want to load a new sample and use it for just one Pattern, try using an empty sample slot.
