New Teenage Engineering products

I’m definitely curious to know if it’s a direct to Bad Gear product, or can they pull off a useful product that does more than cater to a luxury market.

Seems this one is not in a luxury bracket and a step above POs, so again I’m curious to see where this line falls between their financially book-ended product offerings.

If it’s a PO33 on steroids then I’m all in  I enjoy the original since it’s so immediate.

If they are pocket operators on steroids, then they might not fit in the pocket anymore.

I’m looking forward to the new Fanny Pack Operators. I would get a FP-33.

Love them or hate them, there is no doubt any TE announcement causes a lot of anticipation and speculation…they are a mystery and never dull!

What? A beer opener?

Operators instead of pocket operators

I thing they’ll keep the form factor. And add a color OLED. That icon makes sense now.

My wish is for an open PO-like platform with USB-C, a bit more power, OLED screen and proper casing.

It comes with an open source SDK so anyone can build a new firmware and experiment with the provided example one based on PO33.

249$

Given the history of the company, an open platform is very unlikely, but that would be a game changer for the years to come.

Internal battery, USB C charging with audio streaming (to plug into that OPZ/OP1F of course) and a couple of extra features. Yeah I can see that.

I’m absolutely sure whatever it’s going to be way more than 250

I’m going to guess an A.I. clock radio that scans your Ableton projects, forms generative algorithms, creates your music for you while you sleep, and wakes you up with a song it made that night.

It will be called the OP-

Price: $7,499

I hope it’s a dev kit and store allowing third party plugins on the op-1, op-z. I just hope the price of those plugins is not excessive (but not holding my breath).

I guess a TE mug that is made out of spaceship grade aluminium and contains stealth technology so no-one can steal your green tea.

3,500 Euro.

going to look so stupid when it’s a 16 track sampling wavetable AI physical modelling battery powered groovebox and projector for 149 Euro.
