In general it seems like they are failling into the trap of trying to make things look more modern, but it comes at the expense of ease of use too. I’m happy if I can even get tracks to even play in Soundcloud these days…

Yep, they definitely slicked it up to much in that last upgrade (last two really). Trying to push it too much into the social network area.

FWIW I kept using the old version of SC (didn’t like the new one) and haven’t had troubles with it. Maybe switching back would help you guys.
