The string sounds on this one are much simpler, mostly just additive synthesis, using sine waves on the fundamental and lower partials and saw waves on the higher partials, then lowering the amplitude by small increments as the partials go higher. Bit of distortion and a smidge of delay and reverb and Bob’s your uncle.

This is cool! You basically made your own Synclavier. On Synclavier V I like to set these up and then have the saws slowly morph into another waveform and slowly pan the partials, too.

I really like the EP.

Yeah, I’m still to really get deep into waveshapong and morphing, but it’s on the list of things to figure out.

Also haven’t even started on panning yet, I’m very mono these days.
