Got an Ableton Push last week, been pretty impressed with it so far. Other than for a couple things like Saving and Renaming things, you really can just ignore the computer like they say. Pretty fun bit of kit, had me writing material nonstop since it got here.

Unpacked a brandnew Monomachine Mk 2 + yesterday and uploaded right away the Lem soundpack. What a great synth! Glad to have it back!

Nice! Did the same a few weeks back, brand new MnM mk2+ built on order. That completed my Elektron Quadrinity. Haven’t installed the Lem pack on it though, perhaps I should.

Paying member of Adobe Creative Cloud now. Spent the morning setting CC up from a clone on my NLE. My rig is now Pro Tools, Ableton, Reason, Reaper, you name it free. I could run around the block naked.

Traded my Octatrack for this over last weekend. Already talking to an EU user about buying another OT. Didn’t even take a week to want it back, although I’d trade it again for this clean ass Arp.

Bought a TT303 today. Should be here next week.

Got this today, and within minutes was convinced that this is better than any xoxbox I’ve come across. I highly recommend this unit. It feels slightly cheap ish for the price, but not toylike. More importantly though, it sounds great. The sequencer add ons are incredible.

I’ll be including this in my live set this weekend from MeMe Festival. Live rig will be: tt303, a4 x2, MDUW x2, op1, iPad (samplr / nave), space.

You’d have to be a total fucking tb snob to hate on this thing.

This looks great. Would like to give it a try if I can find it in a local store

I just finished one of these two. I also seem to remember some Bloke from the Sonic Potions board.

It’s a fantastic drum machine. The BDs are great. I also love the C/HHs. Claps, everything.

Well worth the time and effort. It’s one of the easiest DIY projects I’ve done. I’m glad I got this instead of all of the volcas.

Some of the software is buggy but it is still in development much of the way many of the Elektrons were. Also fulfilling user requests. Open source anyway so you could make your own. I would say it’s 2/5 - 3/5 of a Machinedrum. Exactly what I needed.

I’ve been hot on Apparat / Moderat lately and realized there was a hole in my palette for “real” sounds, particularly orchestral, so I just bought a Fantom XR to be sequenced by my Monomachine. So far so good, not sure how I’ve lived without piano and string sounds so long.

You should! Its fantastic what he came up with. Also check out the Booster Packs from the Elektron site. I favour The Room atm. Very lush sounds in there for dub and chill.

Damnit. I’ve been working a new job for a month now, thought I was going to get paid in full for the entire month, so went out and bought a new mixer and a Babyface interface, but turns out I only got paid for half the month, and will get the rest in October. Goddamnit.

Interesting pickup with thee old Boss KM-60. Very early Roland SH series knobs. Should be a nice warm addition with the Analog Four.

Yeah, the Boss sounds (and looks) very nice! Overdriving the channels sounds lovely too.
Obviously very limited in having only 6 channels, bass/treble EQ and 1 aux (with dedicated return inputs), but the sound makes up for it. And I make minimal music anyways, I don’t need tons of tracks.

For a bit of front-end warmth and distortion in terms of analog noise floor it’s perfect. Yes it’s functionality is crude but there is more to be gained than lost. Nice buy. That’s includes the Analog Four.
