X2 but no pic at the mo, away on International business don’t ya know :joy:

Traded my Octatrack for this over last weekend. Already talking to an EU user about buying another OT. Didn’t even take a week to want it back, although I’d trade it again for this clean ass Arp.

Bought a TT303 today. Should be here next week.

@Ihatederekreed,

Sweet purchase… let me know what you think of the TT303 when you have it. I’ve yet to read a concise honest review.
Cheers:)

Just finished building this LXR drum synth - its an easy fun build too, similar in complexity to building a Sammich SID i’d say.

Got this today, and within minutes was convinced that this is better than any xoxbox I’ve come across. I highly recommend this unit. It feels slightly cheap ish for the price, but not toylike. More importantly though, it sounds great. The sequencer add ons are incredible.

I’ll be including this in my live set this weekend from MeMe Festival. Live rig will be: tt303, a4 x2, MDUW x2, op1, iPad (samplr / nave), space.

You’d have to be a total fucking tb snob to hate on this thing.

What a beauty

Hoping to pick up a Ensoniq -SQ80 for $200 today just waiting for the guy to get back to me… The sequencer on this thing looks awesome…

Cirklon, what a beast! The timing engine on this thing had to be heard to be believed!!!

They look cool. I just read the specs, have you tried running the headphone o/p into the line in for some distortion/feedback ?
I was interested in the xoxio kit, do you know of it ?

I have not tried that yet. Will give it a whirl this evening. No experience with xoxio kit.

This came in the mail yesterday. 450$ on eBay.

Shit, that’s a good deal! How do you like the sound of it?

Obviously it is a pad/atmospheric beast. Even more obviously, it sounds slightly dated at first, but with all the controls at hands reach, it is pretty easy to venture into some crazy sonic territory with little effort. In this day it’s nothing ground breaking, but it is very rich and lush. It has some great great dynamic range, the filter is a typical “silky” roland filter and it sounds great. It is quite large and heavy. Hah. Some of the physical modeling stuff is beautiful. Bells that will cut you in half, and some very very great sounding wood / percussive sounds. Strings for days!

The keys feel great, and will probably become a main controller for most of my rack synths. Be warned of the “red glue of death” with this model. Apparently the weight glue melts over time and gets red glue everywhere. This one has had the keys replaced, so I’m sure I shouldn’t have to deal with it. Hopefully. I hear it can be a pain, and lead to a lot of people removing the keys and just using the top section as a sound module. See below video link for a kick ass example of this.

Overall, if you can find one for less than 500$ I’d go for it. Just be prepared for an early 90s roland synth with great parameter control. I assume you can imagine the sound from that sentence alone.

Unpacked a brandnew Monomachine Mk 2 + yesterday and uploaded right away the Lem soundpack. What a great synth! Glad to have it back!

Got an Ableton Push last week, been pretty impressed with it so far. Other than for a couple things like Saving and Renaming things, you really can just ignore the computer like they say. Pretty fun bit of kit, had me writing material nonstop since it got here.

Nice! Did the same a few weeks back, brand new MnM mk2+ built on order. That completed my Elektron Quadrinity. Haven’t installed the Lem pack on it though, perhaps I should.

Paying member of Adobe Creative Cloud now. Spent the morning setting CC up from a clone on my NLE. My rig is now Pro Tools, Ableton, Reason, Reaper, you name it free. I could run around the block naked.

How does it sound? How are the kicks?
