Perhaps the proposed mirrored image of the A4 is subtly implying taking the A4 reflection/reverb/delay with a vector control to do like (Camel) Alchemy or ala Wavestation, hence the gearshift, and that gearshift moved incredibly fast on it’s own when hand let go as if being parameter locked, so why not a mixer as well?
A ‘Brain’ that also via it’s hardware, can be used as a creative hardware to use overbridge inside the PC or outside while having major inputs/outputs???
Random thoughts. Hell, a retinal interface would be cool. Borg style. Larger screen, or screens please.

OH YEAH! And intent on using one with a clutch! (Unless that’s typical in Swedish cars too, unlike American cars.)
My 1986 Saab 900 Turbo was definitely a manual and she is still going strong, as I sold it to a buddy only 3 years ago.
FPGA based guitar pedals have been done before, but the elektron implementation with their past circuit design experience with the A4/AR paired with the UI of OB could lead to a very friendly platform for customizing and assigning your FX to whatever physical controls this thing might have

yeh… highly flexible hybrid signal chain could be good - no idea what a fully actualized Elektron fx box / looper would look / feel like though… especially if no step sequencer. But conceptually it would be a bit like a mini-OT without step-programming in a foot-friendly case…? Or, it has a step sequencer, but with big buttons for your feet? will it have a display at all? if not, preset programming is done via OB…? dunno lol

these guys have a “form factor” they use to keep the brand ID intact. I’m betting we wont see some other form factor such as a small pedal or small volca style or pocket op device. It’s probably going to be along the lines of the current focus of total integration of the current line of boxes into one device for processing. A mixer or input box the same size as the OT/RYTM/A4 with a mix of digital and analog effects. The verb and delay effects are already quite good, and with an updated CPU on a newer device, we could see some really beautiful new verbs and such with the ability to modulate parameters. OB seemed more like a way to get software guys to buy into the brand and then ween them off into strictly hardware creating instead of hybrid. The only time I see Cenk using OB is when he is demoing it, but live, not that often.

Any detour from the form factor, I think, would be in a reduction of width.
Same depth, same height on the table, yet not as wide. A bit like a DJ mixer between two decks.

oh yeh i could be completely wrong too… thats just the immediate impression i got from the stream of consciousness style imagery in the video… 
… but its hard to nail down le avant-garde
seems pretty strong on the FX angle tho… also the looper angle - since they are showing a human beatbox dude, and they love loopers
so maybe not a box version… but a pedal thingie? or maybe a box/pedal?

I’m betting FX box or pedal, maybe looper, no sampling as that would put it in OT2 territory and we’ve heard that won’t happen. No synthesis because that would tread on the mnm and a4 and we’ve heard that won’t happen.

And what about some sort of combination of different models from digital eurorack-modules like the mutable instruments clouds/rings/whatever in one box? - with mixing capabilities/fx? Studiograde AMPs?
