With Overbridge can I import audio samples (edit them) and create presets which I then can export to the Digitakt?
I don’t have the hardware with me but would like to create a new banks / presets which I could export. I generally use Ableton to edit the samples then have to import them and create banks/presets on the hardware.

No drag and drop, but you can sample via USB
You can make presets ( known as sounds on digitakt ) but the samples need to be on the device via sampling / transfer app
You can’t transfer samples ( the actual audio waveform ) via overbridge but you can define start / loop etc within overbridge while defining your preset ( sound )
It usually confuses people but learn the difference between a sample and a sound . Many other threads go into more detail.
You can save / export sounds via Sysex dump too
