I’ve made this from several live jams, picked bits and pieces together, tried to create an atmosphere and a story. Hope you like it!
Theres lots of elektron going on, lots of octatrack, a4 and ar.
When someone says dubby I assume it’s either minimal reggae or dub techno.
I know kids sometimes shorten dubstep as dub, which is helluva confusing as at least I can’t hear any dub influence in modern dubstep. It’s like the opposite of the stripped down aesthetics of the early Jamaican stuff.
@Barfunkel Yeah I was referring to the dubsteb influences I used in the rythms. I know what you mean with the jamaican stuff, that has indeed nothing to do with dubstep. So how should I name it? post-dubstep?
Yeaaaah… But bouncing these expressions around, I forgot to mention, it’s new to me, the specific way you’ve combined dubstep stuff with twostep – nice!
