New AR owner - need help with Sample import issue

Hi,

I received my AR yesterday which i’m very happy with but i’m having an issue here. I don’t know whether it’s just me or i’m just reading the PDF manual wrong here.

The manual says that if I create a new “Project” then I have 127 user slots for my own samples per project so I go ahead and create a new project. Then I create a new “DIR” where i want to upload my samples from the C6 software from my mac.

I now select upload here “My newly create DIR” and once inside the AR I select load to project which would be slot 2 “NEW” I just created.

Now the problem is that instead of the samples being in slot 1,2,3 etc etc they have been added to the end of the factory samples at 120,121,122 etc etc

Is there something i’m doing wrong here as I’m confused as to why this is happening. Can anyone help me out here it’s driving me nuts this sample location thing.

Thanks

Rob

are you setting the folder as the input folder by arrow left?

also start with a clean project.

Yep i create a new project and a new “dir” click left and select upload here.
The samples upload fine but they’re place at the end of the factor content from slot 120 onwards.
I’ll have another read but so far the only way i get my samples in to the first slots is if i do an “Empty Reset”

No idea what the problem is as iv’e followed all instructions. I’m using the latest OS.

Thanks

Rob

PS

Yeah i read that topic… my problem isn’t getting the samples into the AR it’s a problem about where they are being placed. I’ll give it another try though and see whats happening here.

Update:

No go on the sample import thing. Seems the only way i can have samples in slots 1-127 is if i do an “Empty Reset”
They then show up where i want them but if i do a factory reset and then import samples they are put at the end of the chain i.e 120,121,122 etc.

I’ll just leave it for now and have a play about with the features here.

Cheers

Rob
