Yeah, and the surest and quickest way to stop that shit whilst also protecting his family would be for him to haul himself to the nearest police station and take some responsibility for his crimes.

Absolutely terrible. I was a big fan of their 90’s albums, and saw them live twice. The last show had some very dark imagery (so much so that it disturbed my wife) and in subsequent interviews it seemed obvious that Kelly had gone through at least one major depressive period in his life.
But there is no excusing domestic abuse, and a very public admission of one’s guilt after systematically hiding it for years does not absolve you in any way.
It also took strength and courage for the rest of Neurosis to hold him accountable and make the statement they did. As they clearly emphasize, the well-being of Kelly’s family is what actually matters.

What, and leave his family what with all they’re currently struggling with?!
I hate to be glib and sarcastic and hope the family gets by in spite of him trying to “help” over and over when it seems like the best thing he could do is leave them alone and stop attempting to control them and the narrative.
