I have wanted a proper NES synth since I first got into synthesizers, I have LSDJ for gameboy, MIDINES for NES and MSSIAH for Commodore64 and DefleMask for iOS and I love all of them but even so I’ve always loved the idea of a proper full sized synth with knobs and buttons that utilizes the NES audio chip.
I don’t have access to 3D modeling software so I drew the concept in Procreate as a way to get it down on paper.
There aren’t enough proper chiptune synths out there a lot of knock offs and sample based junk and a few really good ones but none of them focus exclusively on my favorite chiptune sound source the NES.
I don’t know what the logistics would be of having an the actual NES chip in these or a 1/1 recreation or if it would have to be software based but either way this is what I want:

It does look more fun than a lot of other companies put out these days.
You should add the gun to mute other band members.

When you build this it’d be cool to include Rob accompanying on the drums (kind of like the gorillas on the OP1.)
