The isnt a great deal of information about neighbor trigs and I’m trying to use them more
NEI is true if the most recently evaluated trig condition on the neighbor track was true. (PRE and PRE conditions on the neighbor track are ignored and not evaluated.) The neighbor track is the track before the active track. For example, track 3 is the neighbor track of track 4. NEI and NEI conditional trigs on track 4 evaluate the conditional trigs placed on track 3. The NEI condition is false if no condi- tional trigs exist on the neighbor track.
can the neighbor trig be on the same step or does it have to be after to evaluate the trig on the other track…? I’m trying things on the Octatrack sometimes it works Sometimes not? anyone got any advice?..
Also sometimes neighbor with the line doesn’t do anything and stop the sound playing? It works ok trying the exact same thing on the A4 and Rytm mk2s… now I’ve tried again and is working… very strange
