I am making a slow pan from the left to the right with the lfo2 on the A4. I set the parameters (multiples and speed) the way i like. And it sounds good. But after a while its not the same speed anymore (much faster and audio bounces faster from left to right. Feels like i have to do it all over again all the time and that it wont “stick” the way i set it. Also it feels a bit random, sometimes i get the result i want pretty fast but after it “falls out” its hard to get it back to that slow pan.
its possible that another LFO somewhere else is modulating LF01 speed or multiplier. Are you starting the sound from scratch? you can hold TRACK+FUNCTION+CLEAR to get the initialized patch
for the other issues make sure you are using the right waveform you want for the LFO
It works with a brand new project. So it must be something within the kit or project ive been working on. Ive checked all the macro settings and the other LFOs many times. Cleared all other lfo settings.
Do you have another MIDI device connected? I cascaded my A4 from my MnM and had similar problems with LFO data being sent to the A4… It certainly had me puzzled for a while, even wondering if it was a bug
The kit i was using was in poly mode with all 4 tracks checked.
Unchecking the tracks solved the problem and the lfo/pan and everything works as expected. So for now ill stick to 4 mono tracks instead.
Well, it may be a logical answer to why i dont get the desired result when all (boxes)tracks are checked. Maybe someone can explain why.
Try it yourself, check all the tracks in polymode. make a slow pan with the lfo on track 1 and after a while the slow pan aint there anymore. Well its there if you continue working with only THAT track but as soon as you mess with and start building more tracks, the slow pan on track 1 is gone or changed.
