Hello my digitakt 1 is running on OS 1.10 and i need to upgrade it to 1.20 for further updates can some one help?
Download the correct install file and get the latest version of Transfer, both from Elektron.se
Install transfer on your suitable computer, hook to USB and then follow the instructions within the os download update file
There are lots of descriptions on the site about updating if you search

Email elektron for any updates , individuals shouldn’t be sharing firmware files.

I was told we are not to share files.
To the OP you do need to get 1.20 onto the machine before the Digitakt will be able to function as an audio interface, once that’s done you can do a standard OS update to the most current.
This may require a Sysex transfer which will mean hooking up to a USB midi interface using a DIN cable. The main screen of the transfer app has a button you click which leads you to a window where you can set this up.
