Hy guys im freaking out,
i bought a ms 101, hooked it up in midi chain with my micromonsta and rytm everything worked fine with no problems then i wanted to plug the audio cables in and boom there was no sound from input C/D the LED respond to what im playing and i tried if the cable is broken or whatsoever but everything worked fine, but theres no sound coming from these two inputs and that sucks!
If the LEDs are lighting up then it’s most likely a setting somewhere…
Is it a Thru track? Have you triggered the track to play?
Go into the mixer and turn up the direct mix to test if the input is working. Otherwise, follow @xidnpnlss 's advice.

Ok simply put you have to set up the OT to play the incoming signal. This can be done many ways but usually people use a Thru track.
But honestly my advice now is to give the manual a good read.

Have you looked at the mixer settings?
just to make sure… this is an Octatrack you’re plugging these cables into? you posted in the Octatrack sub-forum but you only mention the RYTM, so I just wanted to verify…
