Uhe will be on Namm , possibly they completed Zebra 3 version to show. I used Hive and Diva quiete a bit over the last year - so i am somewhat intrested to see what Zebra 3 brings, and Hive dosent do FM, but Zebra does. The Iridium can switch out Wavetables, that is a feature i quiete like - and wish i could find in software.
… as a registered exhibitor. They can still attend, and there is a good chance that they are. The reason being is it is a great opportunity to meet with all the retail and business connections ( like suppliers and OEMs, beta testers, and other businesses you work with ) as well as gain valuable information about what is happening in the industry.
They also can meet with important customers.
And don’t forget that NAMM has now made special welcome to influencers, another group of people that is important to meet. ( Despite how despised they might be by certain Elektronaut posters. )
You might consider attending for the same sorts of reasons. It’s probably a little late to set up, but generally one contacts others that may also attend a show and sets up meetings before hand.
I’ve posted about the secret side to shows before.
And you can count on the fact that a lot of other companies are attending ( on company expense ) without a registered booth as well.
ADDED : Oh and while you are in LA you can swing by their office - 1340 E 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90021 ( you need to confirm that address ) and say hello. They are absolutely at the show.
ADDED EVEN LATER : Elektron is also at the special Buchla and Friends event that is overlaping with NAMM.
Me old mucker from Mellotron is going. I met him 20 years ago at a show. I dont think he has ever missed one.
Super cool to see them follow up this soon with a desktop version. Good job, Korg
There are a few rumors circulating from relatively reliable sources that Korg might show off a new iteration of the Kronos as well at NAMM. Would love to see that, especially if that iteration boots up in less than an hour!
Speaking of which: KRONOS - MUSIC WORKSTATION | KORG (USA)
Mini version of the 700s! I bought the big one at the reverb blowout price, it’s cool
What show was it last year where Korg just dominated with announcement after announcement ? So keep 'em coming Korg.
Music Tribe has the potential for maybe a mini version of that with this show, and i don’t mean just Behringer with this.
Definitely to be watched is the new controller ( no name yet ) from Melbourne Instrument.
Good work by Azzarole breaking this.
That’s plural products !!
Good find Tchu !
The Buchla and Friends Showcase is on-topic for this thread, as it was last year.
Note : Silverlake is closer to the Eaton and the Palisades fire zones. We need to follow official announcements on this.
I’m a sucker for 909 style keycaps and that controller looks pretty sweet.
Oh hell yeah! I hate to say it, but I’;m probably going to have to get that.
Edit: Midi 2.0 added.
Nick geared up and ready to go. He’ll also be at BAF25.
He says NAMM will have a good amount of synth gear this year.

Interesting to see Behringer attending this year. They used to deliberately sit these ones out earlier, speaks volumes about how their status and position on the instrument market has changed.
See how it goes first. They may choose to opt out again depending on the reaction.
I think further back they went to shows more frequently. They have been moving toward doing shows again for about a year, from what they have posted on-line.
Let’s remember that not going to shows is something many larger companies do. Roland in the past as for instance. Notably with NAMM – Fender, Gibson, PRS and others have been sitting them out. But this year Fender is back, having not done NAMM since 2020.
Andy Mooney, Fender CEO, told NAMM CEO John Mlynczak that, “We felt NAMM needed to evolve and become less about who had the biggest booth or who threw the biggest party and be more focused on driving industry growth and quality of dealer interaction.”
Mooney also brought up how Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all dropped out of the E3 gaming show.
Direct customer interaction at NAMM is only a very small part of that picture, despite the distorted lens with which we peer at it here.
