We built a fantasy world of magical music machines with the FX Wizard multi-effect, the Wave Bard sample player and the Alchemist synth that live in battery powered Kastle 2 format and the Citadel eurorack version. We are excited to not only announce the late arrival of the Citadel Alchemist Eurorack module to the party, but to let everyone know that all the instruments are now available as DIY kits and that we are partially open-sourcing it so the world we started could be expanded by many others.

It’s freaking good. It’s not only a nice dj style performance EQ but at the smaller increments I use it to add an atmospheric sound to my drums .

A few years ago a local university Professor did some research. He let a lot of trained musicians play to an audible metronome, to a visible one and both together and recorded the performances. I remember that without any exception all musicians performed worse with the only visibly one. So it could be nice product as a last resort for an emergency case if your in ears fail or something.

Very cool, i have the 770 Pro which quickly fatigues my ears, just tried the plug in and it sounds much better with the calibration and a a little bit of room mixed in. I have yet to test how well it actually translates to the speakers but the first impression is good.

Looks like there’s more coming for the 100 series: a USB Audio interface, as well as the (3rd party?) Tangelo Audio Zest ‘Presence Effect’. Hope to hear more about these in the coming days.
