If I am in the Project name window, while a character is selected, with pressing any buttons, or even touching the DT2, the letter will alternate between the chosen letter and the one adjacent to it eg is D is selected, the display flickers between C and E. What’s this about?
Try to press the left and right arrow buttons 30-40 times, could be dirt or dust in the switch causing the button to basically misfire. Sometimes it´s possible to get the dirt/dust out by smashing the button for a while.
Is that happening only in the naming window? Try to check another function where you´d notice if the left and right buttons would engage without you actually pressing them like microtiming.
Edit, could also be a mechanical issue/worn out switch, but often you can resurrect buttons by cleaning them.
Based on this and the other topic it sounds like you need to push turn your level/data encoder
It’s actually a dual potentiometer and they can be noisy, twisting a few turns and push turning might settle it down

Great, thanks for the suggestions, I will give them a try. The unit is only 2 months old, is in a clean environment and hasn’t a spot of dust on it, but anything is possible!
So the issue seems to be that Level/Data encoder is sending data as if it’s being moved. I noticed this by going into Test Mode. The issue previously happened immediately. After spending some time wiggling the Level/Data encoder, the issue happens a lot less often, but occasionally happens. Apparently others have had this issue, and it required a repair from Elektron.
