Dearest Elektronauts,
The latest sample pack from You Gottas is here! I’m overjoyed to announce Mythic Hulusi - 68 far-out samples made in collaboration with classically-trained saxophonist Alex Farrar. Each sound began life from an authentic Hulusi and then was processed with analog effects and plugins for a sound that is both uniquely organic and wildly modern.
The samples previewed in the video are available for free here
As an aside, making assets for music might be the first job I have ever truly enjoyed. It’s not much, but it’s a pure joy to pay for my needs as a direct result of my efforts as a musician and artist. I’m still exploring ways to elevate my music by selling samples instead of having it bog me down with the commercial nonsense I am so desperately trying to escape, but in the meantime it’s a fun way to collaborate with other artists and support one another. And I probably wouldn’t be doing it without this community so… thanks!
Check them out and let me know what you think, more exciting things in the works too (if you like the digitakt)!
