My THIRD Machinedrum-only album and liveset

After a three-year hiatus, I’m back with another Machinedrum-only album. The Infinity Mirror is IDM and ambient in equal measures. Still very much inspired and made possible by the unofficial MDX firmware.

In addition to 11 actual tracks, the album also includes a 24-minute liveset. As with the previous Machinedrum-only albums, the sysex files for the liveset and a number of the individual tracks are now available.

As always with my releases, the album is priced at free / pay-what-you-want. However, all proceeds from the sales of this album will go to Oikeutta Eläimille, a Finnish animal rights organisation founded in 1995 (read more: shorturl.at/bfrQ6).

All tracks were made on the Elektron Machinedrum UW+ mk2. No overdubs. Written and recorded in summer 2026 by AK. Mastered by Obsessed Audio (@sl1200mk2).

Updated the opening post with the sysex files and Youtube video for the liveset (still no live footage, sorry).

If you end up using the sysex files, I’d be happy to hear what you turned them into! Also, if there are problems with the files, please let me know.

The first 50€ donated to the charity (Finnish animal rights organisation Oikeutta Eläimille).

All the proceeds from all my albums go to charity.

Thank you for sharing , it sounds great!
But Why dont the files have a file extension ?
Will they work if i just add .syx to the end ?
Or could they be corrupted somewhat ?

Thank you! I’m away from my Machinedrum at the moment so unfortunately I can’t test importing one of the sysexes. If anyone’s tried the files successfully, please let me know. But I’ll get back to you once I’m back home and have had time to test.
