I had a broken Display Window replacement from Elektron and two spare Digitakt Frontpanels from EBay. So I had the idear to paint the Frontplate to my taste. Because my DT 1 is the most used Instrument in my Setup. I also have the DT2 . I just wanted to share this picture. Hope you like it. It’s handpainted and has 2 UV protection layers. I like it.
I only see a Digitakt ii?
Paint the D2 in nightclub scenery and lose track of both on the way to the gig and at the gig
It’s a Digitakt as the headline says.
Oh, there’s some crazy shit, man. There’s a dude in the bushes…
Summary
Was a joke about not seeing it due to camouflage
Red team go!
lol, the DT is so well camouflaged that it took me a second look to spot the pattern name
reminds of the laptops in that film ‘hackers’ from 1995
I don’t see anything.
This pussy says it looks cool. I often think about designing the surface of my Elektrons in some cool way. I like especially that all the lettering is gone
I always wonder about people that do this. I’ve been around a long time. I’ve seen people do this to the old Electribes, MPC’s, and even Machinedrums (which I personally can’t imagine defiling in such a way!).
I guess they know the interface so well they aren’t concerned with labels, and maybe are attached to the gear so solidly they can’t imagine ever selling it? I don’t know. I wouldn’t do it myself, but I admire the commitment in a way.
I really like it!
Ah yes, the John Cena Digitakt.
Thanks. That pattern title was not of sexism. It’s a place holder there is a hip hop sample in the pattern from my last album . It’s for my live gig that I know witch patter I have active
I already have two original frontplates. If I’m sick on this painting I can jump back to the original . I will never do this paintings when I can’t jump back to the original. But in this case I have 3 Frontplates in total

I’m part of the minority who misses the old chunky ELEKTRON lettering on the faceplates
