Hi All,
Long time lurker, first time poster, thought I should say “hi”.
I’ve just bought an Analog Rytm from one of the local music shops. I’m slowly getting to grips with the concepts, thanks mainly to the videos on youtube, but I have one non-technical question…
Should there be a printed manual in the box? I seem to have everything else, cables, quick start guide, accessory booklet, but no main manual. I have downloaded it from the website, but I’d just like to confirm if there should be a hard copy?
cheers,
Eric

I assume they didn’t include a full manual because of the many upcoming changes. It makes sense to keep it digital. It’s normal, mine didn’t come with one either.

There are no full printed manuals that come with the AR or A4, only the quick guides.

Thanks guys. It was just that I know there’s one included with the Octatrack and I wondered if one of the guys from the shop had taken it out to read and not put it back.
I’ll get on with the beatmaking now. :joy:

I’m sure upcoming changes are a part of it, but it has also become common for software companies not to ship full printed manuals. There’s the financial and environmental cost of printing it in the first place, plus the financial and environmental cost of shipping that extra weight.
When they have to make the digital manual anyway, it makes sense to simply leave the option to print it in the hands of the end user.
