My first takt with the Digitakt - Little Digit

Edit: I rambled… Yes, I don’t know for sure but think I you’d like heat al lot!

Ha  well, I did read your rant before your edit, though. Compressor, you say? The Heat’s serviceable as a compressor? If so, then it’s a done deal.

Thanks, how kind of you to say. Yes, my wife calls it the Japanese Garden. I had a thing for the soundtrack from Lost in Translation many years ago, I think that stuck somewhere. Maybe it’s emerging again now.

Thanks, I appreciate it. My only two fans - my kids - don’t like it, though. They always like everything I do. Not this one.

Kids these days, huh. I guess I’m back to square one in my career.

Gorgeous track. Melody and beat are on point. Great job.

Thanks, I’m very happy you took the time to listen. I’m glad you liked it. I’m making an EP based on the atmospheres and sounds from this track, so there’s more on its way. But it’s slow coming, family and work and stuff, you know.

Very nice, i would like to hear a longer version… Its funny I want that because I like short tracks where it all come together but this one is different… I like the atmosphere, build up and the sounds you use!

Thanks, I appreciate it and you taking the time to listen.

Thank you  well, there was a five minute version at first, but really just more of the same, which made it slightly dull. While it’s brief now, it does mean the pacing doesn’t wear you out, or at least not because nothing new is going on.

I think, if I did this live, I’d build in more sections where the piece could benefit from working more with release and build-up. But that’s not happening any time soon.
