My double album ‘Montréal’, out today

Last year, I visited Montréal. I really enjoyed my stay. During my visit, I created a few tracks and did some field recording. As I went through all the material I had, I kept coming up with more to add, until I ended up with nearly two hours of tracks!

From start to finish, the album tells a story about Montréal. It’s very eclectic in content, including field recordings, jazz piano, drone, library music, semi-post rock, found sound, noise, and even a couple of tracks you could dance to. It is not at all deadly serious, and not everything is what it initially appears to be.

The album is available for $0 (or more) at Bandcamp.

It might be fun to put on this silent video of Expo 67 while you listen.

I hope you enjoy the album as much as I enjoyed Montreal!

As a lifetime Montreal resident, this is talking to me. I will surely listen to it from start to finish. Montreal is a special City for sure. I would have loved to meet you for a drink/beer and jam.

Last Summer pictures of Montreal.

I think this is under the W Hotel. I was wishing I could make a IR for reverb.
