Rytm not updating [resolved : corrupt syx file]

Ive been trying to update the firmware of my Elektron Analog Rhythm II to the 1.46 beta version so i can test the new bridge.

The problem is that i just cant make my Analog Rhythm receive the syx file.

i did check that the midi port is set correctly. (USB/Midi mode and not bridge).

i did went in the system menu and puted update OS.
also tried the same starting the machine on safe mode.

i also tried to do all the above in another computer.

it just doesnt receive the fine once i put send from C6 software or the transfer software from elektron.

I made sure the right ports were selected on the C6 config.

the Analog Rhythm screen keeps showing the text “Ready to Receive” and it just stays there!
doesnt receive the file and doesnt update.

I did connect te USB cable DIRECT to my computer… no HUBs were used and i also tried to update it using a MIDI cable.

nothing worked!

is anyone having the same problem? any ideas or tips?

i contacted the elektron technical support and they give me no real solution so far.

any help is much appreciated!!

Did u tweak the speed settings on c6?
Try another midi box ?

This seems to be a problem for other people aswell.

Can you do a backup and then try a factory reset?

I did try turning on and off the turbo option on c6. everything gave me the same result.

funny thing here is that i already did an upgrade when i bought the machine long ago and everything worked fine!

this problem is just happening now with this new firmware release!

I Already did a factory reset and still with the same problem.

also tried using a different computer as it looks like it worked for some people but still doesnt work for me!

I got it to work.

looks like my Syx file was corrupted! downooaded a new one and it worked!!
