Hi,
Here is the solution i’ve made for carrying my A4 and octatrack.
Case is from Dap Audio, 29 euros, + a little bit of rubber

Those are nice cases. Still a lot of wiring to do when you get to a gig though.
I’m looking for a case that I can put some rack ears in, have two side by side so it fits on a keyboard stand.
My octa and a4 are all wired up like crazy I don’t want to rewire at every gig. Having a long case with rack ears I could leave them wired in the case.
Still shocked no one sells anything like this…

i agree.
personnaly, i don’t mind rewire all for a gig. it’s part of my mental preparation…
Where do you find the time? I play with a band, and for some gigs we only have 15 minuets to setup between bands. Not to mention performing an after party, i’d have to unwire, drive to the after party and rewire all my shit again. People are already there waiting to hear music, if I can’t setup fast enough some drunk IPOD dj will take control of the system then the party is pretty much a flop.

i’m not playing live very often, that’s why i don’t mind. If one day i play like you say, i will change my way to do it
