what are you doing to get a clean vibe out of your sampled drum loops?
lots of extra noises in there. sometimes I like that, sometimes I wanna get rid of that.
any suggestion is welcome. at present, I’m using the internal eq, compressor and shorting the samples in the aed. works ok, but is there another way?
(ok, works ‘ok’ means, I’m not too happy with it yet lol)

I really want a noise gate in the fx or even better an expander.

Not sure what is the question, for multiband comp I’d use 2 or 3 different 24db filter base / width with corresponding settings.
For noise gate fx, there is Gate reverb, but it is not dry.
A workaround for noise gate, not 100% sure, you can use 2 same samples with phase opposition, and use THRS comp on 1 channel.
