Hi, I am really happy with my setup these days (OT-DNK-DB01). What I would like to do, is use the OT-arranger as song mode, also for the external devices.
Is there a way to mute tracks on the DNK from the OT? I was hoping it could be done with some kind of midi-mute from the OT to the DNK. But in other threads I only came across a workaround (send CC94 to DNK from the sequencer, 0=mute/1-127=unmute)
My preference is not to sequence the DNK from the OT, because I think I would lose a lot of the tweakability of the DNK (but maybe I am wrong, open to suggestions)
I would still use DNK for sequence programming, and dedicate one midi channel on OT to send mute/unmute CC Messages. I’m just wondering if this would require dedicating as many as 4 separate midi tracks on OT to send commends to 4 different midi channels, with the Midihub you could certainly create a patch that would, for example, convert a specific midi notes to a CC command on a selected midi channels, in order to dedicate just one midi track from OT for mute/unmute DNK tracks.

Too much hassle, sending CC’s.
So I was wondering: is it possible to save the (un)mute state of tracks within a pattern on the DN?
For example:
A1 (all tracks unmuted) --> A2 (track 4 muted) --> A3 (all tracks unmuted) --> etc

Never mind, should’ve rtfm.
Pattern mutes is the way to go (FUNC - DOUBLE TAP BANK)
I think so. Using CCs to mute other Elektron from an Elektron is PITA. (A CC with same value is sent only once, so it’s very boring).
