Muting one-shot trig in arranger?

Hi,

Is it possible to mute a oneshot that’s playing in Arranger mode?

I have one pattern that is full of loops and I am using the “M” mutes in each row of the Arranger to enable or disable tracks. The one thing I can’t figure out is how to mute a long one-shot that has been started earlier. I try to mute the track on the arrangement row but the one-shot keeps playing.

Any suggestions?

Confirmed, I think it isn´t right. Playback loopmode doesn´t matter (Off, Auto or On makes no difference in this situation).

There are some ways to work around it, but it depends on what you are doing else in the OT/Arranger. One solution could be to use Scenes where ie pattern B is exactly the same (= a copy) of A, except that it has an fader control of the level of that one-shot track.

In the Arranger then you are able to set the scenes per row, so you could just set that ‘mute’ row to all B/B and the ‘fader’ level control will become active. There is one problem with this kind of solution though, the fader does ALWAYS override the pattern/arranger so if other rows are depending on that the pattern/scene is correct. You´ll need to keep an eye of where you are leaving the fader…

Another way is to use the other pattern and just set an P-lock to control vol (amp page). Then you don´t need to worry about the fader position.
