Just received my analog Rytm
Noticed that when i try and switch the mute button off , it just go’s into a Dull red colour…but the light doesnt go off completely
Is this a software issue?

Mute will remain half lit if some tracks are muted (or soloed).
From page 15 of the manual:
The tracks you have muted in this mode stay muted even if the pattern is changed or a new kit is loaded. After exiting MUTE mode, the LED light atop the [MUTE] key will stay lit, half-bright red, if any of the tracks are muted. The MUTE mode is a part of the active state of the machine. It is not stored to the current kit or pattern. Mutes activated in MUTE mode are the master mutes, and they will override any TRIG MUTE patterns on the sequencer or any SONG MUTE program on any pattern of the active song.

it is the same with scenes and even with macrofx in perf mode. If you press a green pad, and while pressing change to chromatic, mute or scene mode, the pad you are pressing will keep its value

What if all the tracks are unmuted (all Green pads in Mute Mode) and the ‘Mute LED’ is still half-lit? What could be keeping it (half) on?
edit - Sorry to bring up an old thread, but this is exactly my problem and although it’s small, it’s bugging me somewhat.
I am playing around with using a LaunchControl XL to adjust parameters in the AR, could it have inadvertently tripped a switch somewhere?
