Any suggestions about making PACE iLok work on Linux? See Expressive E Osmose - #2536 by icaria36.
I run iLok on Manjaro via Wine and while it’s not my favourite thing to have to install, it does what it’s supposed to; annoyingly sometimes, but the few plugins I use that require iLok function. Is there a specific problem you have?
Maybe the problem is with this “PACE”? Years ago on Windows I had an iLok app for MPC stuff. It was a separate app. Here with this Osmose Ctrl-E, the iLox is embedded in the plugin, it’s not a separate app. Yesterday I looked whether it was possible to get this authorization through a separate iLok app but it was late and I was tired and really bored about this.

Personally, I wouldn’t even deal with this kind of software at all. Every hand-built solution will break in the long term, at least that’s my experience.

Fair enough - that does sound like the cause of the issue then.
@dr_laemmerbein Fully agreed, and I deinstalled Wine and yabridge long time ago. I never care about whatever Win/Mac software is offered when I register a piece of gear, even when I know it kind of works on Linux (Arturia, Native Instruments…) but in the case of the Osmose I thought it would be nice to have a bunch of presets designed for this peculiar keyboard. For me it was worth trying, but not a big deal at all if it doesn’t work.
