Having had that happen for real at a club I was involved with’s gig during the support act’s opening set (they carried on in acoustic mode, despite being a noisy guitar drone band) of a packed-out gig, that brings back hideous memories of colleagues making last-minute cab rides across town to find a replacement 24-track desk. shudders
