This was me last night. I was working on a beat on the Digitakt and felt like the snare was off. Kept tweaking it until it finally sounded right — only to realize that I had effectively tweaked the snare into silence. Between the LFO and trig conditions etc. etc. you couldn’t hear the damn thing anymore, and that made the beat sound better.
