Some people are not thrilled with wife jokes regardless of the meaning behind them so tread lightly would probably be the best advice. I don’t see any problem here but just saying it’s come up before.
It ALWAYS more of those crap peppermint hard candies than anything else now. Even worse, they nixed Tootsie Rolls. Haven’t bought much from them since. I think my last purchase came with four peppermints, a stale Bit O Honey that had fused into the wrapper and a tooth-chipping piece of Double Bubble from the 60s.
I got a laffy taffy with my last order, I think it was banana flavored. Like 5 starlight peppermints, a rootbeer barrel and a banana flavor laffy taffy.
