Exactly my first comment out of the theater.
Dune pt. I didn’t remind me of Mad Max at all.
But the part II felt much like fury road, not because of the desert, but because of some themes, characters, and photography similarities.
It’s not a criticism - can’t blame a director for having a style - just surprised because I didn’t think that for part I.

Oh no… you mean there is absolutely zero plot and it consists of 2 one-hour action scenes? Gutted… was looking forward to Dune part 2

Yeah I was only joking - it was just an opportunity to take a cheap shot at that absolute polished turd of a film that is Mad Max Fury Road. Just my opinion… and just realised this is the memes thread not the movies one
