Almost as if they stopped caring after that. Well not really, they all have their merits, for example you couldn’t imbed a kp1 in a guitar, which wasn’t the style at the time.

I always wanted a guitar with an embedded Kaoss Pad (not kidding). I know a guy here in LA who was installing those for people, but now they’re hard to find in good shape
