Hey everyone, I’m working on adapting the analog four for use via a drumkat. I would like to map drum sounds to each track and use them as a sound bank. Eventually all 128 sounds in the sound pool / 4 tracks.
I have read the manual but am still confused about how to do this. Can someone walk me through adding one sound to a midi note. I’m sure it’s easy, but I’m a little mentally deficient when it come to the simplest stuff.
So…your drumkat should output on PERF channel (that you can set in the Midi config).
I use channel 12.
Anyway: i tell you my setup with an Akai MPD24 to trigger drum patches (that you can adapt to your needings)
I access one A4’s Track at a time.
Building the pattern for that track - then moving to the next one…
So: MULTIMAP settings for having, say, 128 sounds triggered by 128 different midi notes
• create a new entry
• function, Int Trig
• range low, C0
• range hi, the highest note
• track, Auto
• note, C3 (let’s say those drum patches don’t have Keytracking)
• note inc, 0
• sound slot, 1
• sound inc, 1
This way you should be able to send from note C0 till the 128th midi note then triggering the 128 sound slots on the focused Track.
