I probably wouldn’t even play it, but I just want them make the effort of having a sense of humor. Being artist can be rough & dealing with Akai BS beta drama doesn’t help. Put Mario-Kart type game up in this thing!

I would rather wait until spring 2026 when they release a retro skin for 100 extra where it’s painted well. A good paint job makes the difference between “let’s do this “ and “let’s freakin do it “ when opening up your projects.

So, I was playing with the new visual eq 4, than ran the audio into eq8 in Ableton. Seems that the eq4 display is showing frequencies as being much higher than Ableton.
Peaks at 10k in Ableton were showing as about 13/14k on the Mpc.
This was running a pure sine wave for clarity.
Anyone else feel like testing this?
Could also be user error, it’s happened before

In the Air Filterbank/EQ4, the FFT frequency resolution is probably a bit low to save CPU.

Them 16 Step/Function pads are powerful. I like how many parameters of a step can be edited right from the pad.

It is powerful for sure, but also somewhat clunky IME. Set/Click the thing you want, find the step, adjust parameter. It’s painfully slow compared to the Elektron p-lock workflow.
