Crazy….wont even be able to register them.
As far as anyone knows, yes.
It’s so cute, I’m going to get one for my dog.
I don’t know, marketing pictures generally don’t include license plates in them.
Looks like this person is sleeping in their old ass mini van. peddling stolen goods must not be as lucrative as we all thought!
That’s definitely next level marketing…
How much is he asking for?
Introducing the MPC MAGA Keys.
How can people at Akai R&D get it so wrong with this red thing they’re peddling and not understand the market place, and, know that something resembling the classic Akai/VX600 aesthetic would sell by the bucket load?? It seems crazy to me…
I suppose it’s subjective.
Blacked out with hot pink minor keys and buttons/knobs, with an 80’s Beat Street style graffiti logo and they can take my money.
‘Everybody say RAMO!!!’
‘RAMO!!!’
‘Rrrrr-UGH!!!’
As you probably know, Akai means “red” in Japanese. It probably has a deeper meaning for the brand, considering this year is Akai’s 40th anniversary.
Too bad it looks ass ugly.
Guys, this was a joke.
So the 37 runs on a battery? I mean it’s just chilling in an abandoned van
LoL you guys got baited bad with these pictures it’s got to be fake! Bunch of boomers
So I shouldn’t be selling my MPCKeys61 on Reverb?
Probably runs on candy.
This doofus has made about 80 posts and counting on his score and afaict he hasn’t told us whether it has a battery or not.
I’m honestly surprised someone hasn’t bought it. If anything just to post “FIRST” on the MPC forums. Haha!
I like to think I’m above the whole “it’s not my color” or “I’ll buy it when it’s X color”… but, once the MPC LIve 2 came out in Retro colors, I could resist no longer.
Fully agreed, if they don’t do a Retro version of this (possibly coming) MPC unit, they are missing the mark.
I kinda like it. It fits with the whole cheesy image of Akai.
Folks puh-leeeeez. When are we going to move past seeing color?!
