Mpc live & Octatrack meet DFAM

Hi all.

I have no experience using cv. None.
Can anyone suggest or explain how I can trigger a dfam while using a mpc live and Octatrack?

I have a Kenton usb midi also?

There it is. I’m completely in the dark here?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe some of these search results will help?

Just found an easy solution to this without any need for other external gear.

The following is what worked for me:

  • Patch from the cue output of the OT to the ADV/CLOCK input of the DFAM.
  • In the Metronome settings of the OT make sure the metronome is ticked active
  • Change the Time signature of the metronome to 4/16
  • Make sure the “CUE VOLUME” is turned up close to max
  • Untick “TONAL” so the OT just outputs a click out of its cue output.
  • Make sure the run/stop button is active on DFAM

This solution worked great for me. Delighted to not lose one of my audio tracks using this method… you will however lose your cue outs for sends which is something I might get into further down the road. As far as quick fixes go though this works pretty well.

Hope this helps someone out“
