Mpc live + digitakt + digitone audio connection

Hello, I have a motu 828es and I am trying to save on the cost of analog inputs. If I connect the 3 machines separately I spend 6 inputs, so I would like, being the mpc live the brain, to connect the digitakt and digitone to the mpc live in the best way and use only two inputs on the sound card. Is there someone who does this? is there any way to separate the tracks on the computer using only two inputs as I say? Excuse me if I say some nonsense. Thank you

No There’s not a way to send multiple tracks of audio via standard audio cables and separate them.

If you only want to use two inputs I would suggest to route the Digitakt through the Digitone and DN into the MPC. Seperate audio tracks are possible via Overbridge

Don’t forget that your 828es has 16 additional inputs over ADAT. Behringer ADA8200 is only $250, or MOTU 8Pre, Presonus, etc.

But the suggestion above (DT > DN > MPC) is the easiest. Though eventually you may want to separate each instrument’s outputs onto their own tracks in your DAW. And also route your DAW to the MPC’s inputs for sampling.

Depending on your workflow, you could also record the Elektrons to the MPC, either as samples/loops or full audio tracks. If you then open your MPC project in MPC software they will be there as completely separate tracks and if you want to you can export that into your DAW of choice. This will not take up any audio inputs, just USB from MPC to computer.
