How is the bass response?
Yes.
After the automatic MA-1 correction and a manual attenuation of -9dB above 100hz, I can hear bass notes at 42Hz (F).
Maximum level is down from 94dB to 85dB, so you sacrifice loudness for bass extension. I don’t mind this at all, in my small room, which seems to be about double the size of your space (same width but longer throw).
Note that without MA-1 they sounded terrible at first.
I compared them to my other setup, which is KH120&KH750 (also MA-1 corrected) situated in a much larger room volume.
Edit: 42Hz is roughly F, not E
I have a pair of presonus Eris E44 for small desktop but I can’t recommand them. They sound weak and not so precise. I think a decent 5" are minimum, especially to mix basses.
