Watched this last night on a healthy bucket of 'shrooms!! Intense is an understatement! :grimacing:
Amazing sound design and the end/post credits are bleak, beautiful and inspiring all at the same time.
Really “enjoyed” it.

You watched Warfare on shrooms?! :open_mouth: That sounds absolutely harrowing.

It really was! :grimacing:
But not at harrowing as The Dark and the Wicked last night, followed by Smile 2, followed by Dead Mail… on more 'shrooms… Now that WAS a mental workout!!:grimacing::grimacing::face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’m sure Wicked was trippy. I loved Smile 2 but that must have been equally harrowing! Power to ya!

I wish it had been Wicked!
It was “The Dark and the Wicked”

Just watching The Ugly Stepsister, and photography, cinematography, costume and music choices look great.
Based on a trailer it should be a wild ride.

I saw this years ago. It’s quite possibly the grimmest horror movie I’ve ever seen. It’s good (for some definition of “good”), but it’s a rough ride

(A close second would be “Where Evil Lurks”)

Oh my… I would say I’d forgotten about that one, but once seen, it certainly CANNOT be unseen! :grimacing::exploding_head:

Unsure if this is movie or tv but Adam Curtis documentaries are always worth checking out.

Bit of an odd question here but I’m trying to think of which movie has a scene cut to Head over heels by Tears for Fears? I seem to recall it being not too dissimilar to Scream (2?) when they cut to a crane shot as a version of Red Right Hand plays by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Cheek and Chong’s Corsican Bros
The Lost Boys
Howard the Duck
Goonies
Killer Clowns From Outer Space
Big Trouble in Little China
The Princess Bride
Tropic Thunder ***

Not sure I could sit through any of em now but they were all peak cinema to me when I saw em.

*** especially great because Hollywood could never make a movie like this again.

according to google ai ?

The movie Donnie Darko has a scene that prominently features the song “Head Over Heels” by Tears for Fears. The song is used during the opening sequence of the film, which depicts Donnie’s high school and introduces the main character and his environment

otherwise you could add a better prompt to chatgpt to add more info … or search imdb based on song credits.

DONNIE DARKO, of course. Thank you a million times this was driving me up the wall.

i meant my original post. that’s what i was referring to here. also the link with the upside down emoji leads to a movie called Jafaican. are you referring me to my own post? what is happening here

i have no idea what you’re talking about. unless im not seeing hidden posts or something

i made sure to search before i posted mine from 20 days ago:

but my post there wasnt about how i posted it “first”, i was just saying i was surprised that no one had mentioned it yet. I assume i was wrong, but i just didnt see them. i just used the search function

I just typed a question into google. … I recommend it for all sorts of things … it’s answered other questions on here regarding digitakt functionality too

The days of posting a question and waiting for people to answer is dying out … instant answers using google is pretty good … though might not be entirely accurate.

Yeah, fuck me for still wanting to communicate with other human beings, right?
