I naively created a song in the “presets” project. Now I would like to move it out to a clean project. I can’t figure out how to manage a song so that it can be moved to a different project. Is this at all possible?
I don’t think that’s possible. The best you can do is save the presets project with the song you’ve created to a new project slot and remove from it whatever patterns, kits and sounds you don’t need.
you can… may be a bit of work depending on the amount of patterns and kits involved in the song
but you can sysex out all the individual kits and patterns and the song and then initialize a project and sysex the files into it
you will have to reconnect the patterns and kits (via the load kit)
take care to load the patterns to the same slots so the song data will work
